Do you love the 12x12 sheet that I used for the base of the project?  Here's and MDS tip on how I made it:
  1. Start with a base of 12x12 textured Chocolate chip paper.  Regular card stock will work.  It doesn't have to be textured.
  2. On top of that place an overlay.  I used an overlay from "Presto Patterns".  Please note that you don't have to use an overlay - you can use ANY digital stamp to get this effect.  There is a sample of this below.
  3. Change the colour of the overlay to chocolate chip.  Please note that it will literally disappear.
  4. Now the magic - put a DROP SHADOW on the overlay at 75%.  This will give the whole overlay a shadow.  Lovely!  You can alter the colour of the shadow as well for different effects.
This is one that I did with Bashful Blue- you can see the technique at the bottom:

I'm a little digitally challenged, what is an overlay? I tried this technique and couldn't do it, I think it is because I don't understand the overlay thing.
Hi Elaine,

An overlay is just a stamp that is the size of 12x12. The technique should work with any stamp though. Hope that helps!

Thanks! I did it! I used the swirly stamp from the Baroque Motifs set, it is perfect for this technique too.
