Disclaimer and Conditions of Use

Please note that all messages posted on the My Digital Studio site forums are the sole opinions of the individuals who write them. Occasionally, incorrect information concerning policies or products may appear in the My Digital Studio site forums. As we become aware of them, Stampin' Up! will correct misconceptions or false information. However, Stampin' Up! is not responsible for the accuracy of the information posted by site users and contributors, and may not always be able to clarify inaccurate information. Stampin' Up! will not be held liable for any loss or damage caused by a reader's reliance on erroneous information posted in these discussion groups.

Although we encourage you to share your ideas openly, we do not allow messages that are negative, rude, offensive, derogatory, unlawful, or that could be hurtful or embarrassing to others. Additionally, you may not engage in profanity, racial, ethnic, gender based attacks, or any other personal discriminations. We find such language offensive and it will not be tolerated in any of Stampin’ Up!’s forums. Members who choose to engage in this type of activity may have their privileges revoked and be banned from the community.

  • We reserve the right to remove any topics or sub-topics we deem inappropriate or disruptive to our community. Please note that, from time to time, topics or sub-topics may be removed for being inappropriate even though your individual post in that topic may have been in compliance. Please keep it positive and polite. We do not censor opinions or ideas on our forums but we do take action against posts and/or topics that could cause unrest in the community beyond a civil and polite disagreement.
  • You may not make personal attacks on other users either in public forums or private messages.
  • Spamming or any messages that contain virus information is not permitted. Illegal content of any type may not be linked in any shape or form. We want the community to be a protected environment where our members feel safe to chat and discuss. Please keep posts in line with the spirit and intent of the community.
  • You may not advertise or promote other companies or their programs which may compete with Stampin’ Up! in the community. Signatures may not contain the promotion or advertisements of other companies, regardless of whether or not they are competitive. Members of the community may not promote or advertise personal events, (i.e. card classes, crops, workshops, or personal business ventures). This does not prohibit members from sharing experiences or requesting ideas and tips for these types of events.
  • If you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator: The My Digital Studio site is not the appropriate place to promote your own Stampin' Up! business and demonstratorship. When these forums are used to promote individual businesses rather than Stampin' Up! as a whole, it creates a competitive environment in an otherwise non-competitive space. Please be aware that moving forward, Stampin' Up! will (on a case-by-case basis) remove posts that hinder the purposes outlined above.
  • Pictures and videos may be posted as long as they are not explicit or offensive.
  • You may have one username on the board at any one time. We reserve the right to delete multiple accounts.
  • Attempts to represent oneself as a Stampin’ Up! employee and posting negatively to a member's topic is strictly prohibited and will result in corrective action. We reserve the right to ban any member who violates our guidelines or disrupts our community. We will be fair and provide a warning in most cases.

This document cannot cover every situation that may arise. If you have any questions regarding the My Digital Studio Community, please contact us at 1-800-STAMPUP. Stampin’ Up! reserves the right to make determinations on a case-by-case basis as necessary.
