Comment by Christine Stewart on January 24, 2012 at 4:02pm I love this card! How did you do the edges? I've seen it done in Photoshop Elements, but not familiar with the technique in MDS.
For some reason I could not get the two tree layers to group together! The program was super slow last night and I haven't bothered to try it today. I got all my downloads organized today. I print screened the all the folders and then printed them and put them into a binder. What a fast and easy way to update your downloaded files all on one piece of paper!
awesome video! thank you so much for making and sharing it! you did a fantastic job of explaining the steps!
one helpful tip for making the tree process faster and easier is to just make the black and white layer one time, then group the two items - as soon as you move the white trees one layer back, and then touch the up arrow one time, then hold down the control key and also touch the black trees in front so that both are selected at the same time. Then choose 'group' from the drop down menus at the top. Now the two items will act as if one item. Once they are grouped, just copy and paste and resize, repeat as needed! That way you don't have to create each set of trees from scratch each time. Hope that helps! I totally love the new grouping features!
