I love using My Digital Studio to capture those everyday moments that we want to remember forever. This page is one of them; while the pictures are simple, they tell a sweet little story. They are pictures of my 15-month-old baby girl after her bath. She’s not quite tall enough to see the mirror even with the help of the stool, so needs to stand on her tip toes. And while combing her beautiful curls she has no idea Mom's behind her with a camera. These pictures are so sweet and fun and these are the everyday moments that we often take for granted. These are the memories I want to remember!
This page is fairly simple. I only used Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red, and White. I used the Twitterpated Kit—I just love the elements in it! I also used the Loving Thoughts and Medallion Stamp Brush Sets. I used Riding Hood Red for the words, but I changed the opacity of each one. The Medallion is in White with the opacity changed to 15 percent. I used my punch elements to add some Designer Series Paper patterns behind the pictures. The pattern was too bright and bold at first so I toned it down by putting another punch right on top, filling it with Blushing Bride, and changing the opacity enough to see the pattern but in a more muted tone. The flowers are made with the Blossom Bouquet Punch, and I added some stitching to the ribbon.
Don’t forget to capture your favorite everyday moments!

Comment by Darlene Redlin on March 7, 2012 at 10:31am I love the simplicity and the way you used the colors in the design. Your trick of layering another punch and changing the opacity on top of the background paper punch to give it a more muted look really ties everything together. Such happy and sweet memories......

Sweet page! I wish we had digital cameras when my daughter was little, I think I would have had so many more pictures.
