Every year for the past 15 years I have created a personalized Christmas card. Each year I try to work on something a little bit different from the year before. The first couple of years the cards I created were essentially a “funny pet photo” cards designed with minimal type in another design program. Then as I became more and more obsessed with stamping, my Christmas cards became a little more handmade and less computer generated, which can be a massive task when you are creating 50 to 100 cards. As we have added children to our family, our cards changed to reflect this and became more photographic again. This year I think I've have achieved the perfect balance; I designed my Christmas card using My Digital Studio.
I used the 5" x 3-1/2" landscape trifold card template and too many downloads to count. We have so many amazing options that I had a hard time narrowing it down but I primarily used the Bright Hopes Stamp Brush Set.
I wanted my card to have a bit of an additional handmade element so I topped it all off when I dressed up my envelope with the Snowy & Bright personalized name stamp (item 125428) on page 33 from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
The artwork on the personalized name stamp coordinates directly with the Bright Hopes Stamp Brush artwork. It’s perfectly personalized, in my opinion.
I also took advantage of the great new bulk pricing. Not only will all my friends and family get a personalized Christmas card, but I accomplished the card early this year. Usually I am working on the cards right up until a few days before Christmas. Complete handmade Christmas card . . . check!

Comment by Vanessa Kirschner on January 30, 2012 at 2:44am Amazing card. Are you willing to share step-by-step instructions on how to make. I am a FNG Fresh New Gal :) Thanks so much.
Comment by Tammy Shaia on November 27, 2011 at 11:16am Charlet, your Christmas card is outstanding! I absolutely love it!! I would also like to do a tri-fold card this year, but how do I figure out the placement of the family picture? I'd like the pic in the center of the tri-fold, but I don't know where the center is. Looking at page one, if I go by the ruler then I would want to put the pic between 5 and 10 inches. Is that correct?
Comment by Tammy Shaia on November 16, 2011 at 8:46pm I just LOVE your Christmas card. Absolutely breath-taking! How did you add the 4 photo boxes on the far right of your card. Did you drag and drop the 4 photo box template or add one photo box at a time?

Comment by Amber Meadows on October 21, 2011 at 5:15pm I was just sitting here thinking about what to do for our Christmas card this year and even contemplated a trifold card. I felt a little intimidated by the idea and then I saw your post - AMAZING!!! I echo everyone's comments - it's gorgeous and you did a fantastic job!
Oh my gosh.. I absolutely LOVE this card... don't be surprised if our cards this year turn out to be pretty similar :) {wink}.. whohooo! Thanks for the inspiration! I love the idea of having the space to include our annual "family letter" on the back rather than including a separate folded letter... I'm EXCITED to get started now!!
