Alesha you are such a genius.  How did you learn all this.  Just trial and error?  Thanks for all your secrets and your Sracp Sketches.  I just received my first 12 x 12 pages from the printer from Stampin Up.. I LOVE IT

There's a much easier way to do this rather than importing images into your MDS components:

If you put a punch on your layout.... then fill the punch with any DSP.  Once it's filled in, double click the punch.  You'll now see a button that says "replace image" - if you click it you will be able to scroll to wherever you normally store your photos on your computer.  That way you don't have to move the photos around, you can just access them wherever they're already stored.

I see that you are using a MAC,  can this process be done on a windows program or is there a different way?

I have a PC.  I copied some photos on to my hard drive under background papers just like Carrie said.  However when I go into MDS, I can not pull up the photos.  Did I copy them in the wrong format or am I missing something?  thanks

Joyce - I did this today on my PC and you go to My Computer - double click on your main hard drive - Program Files - My Digital Studio and the rest is the same from there - components - background papers. hope that helps
